Receive Payment Processing Quotes From
Collection agency sent me a supposed agreement for payment for delete, it doesnt appear correct though.?
I negotiated a pay for delete with a collection agency. At first the said that they couldnt send a letter putting it in writing. Then after they finally faxed it to me, it was bull and said nothing about deleting the account after payment. Now the new one that they sent seems funny as well. Here is the quote from the letter that refers to it.
“Once we receive your payment and it is processed, we will, because of your dispute request removal of the negative information.”
This doesnt seem right to me. Why do they have to request for it to be removed? That isnt saying that they will do it. This is a collection account that showed up a couple days ago. I was going to dispute it because its from a termination fee when I wasnt in contract, but I wanted to bite the bullet and take the fastest way out. But anyway, what do you think about that statement? Everything else in the letter is just saying pay this amount and by this date.
They can’t lie on credit reports and that’s what you’re asking them to do.
They can report the balance as Paid in Full, Settled in Full, or whatever is the truth. They have a responsibility to report the truth, not negotiate reporting the truth to get payment for what’s owed.
If there was an accounting error, or some other mistake made, where it shouldn’t have been put on your credit report, then it can be removed fully. Otherwise, you can look forward to having a zero balance on your credit report for collection accounts. That’s so much better than what you have now. They are obligated to update the ballance. When creditors look at your report & see you still owe collection agencies it’s a huge red flag. Having these accounts show zero balances is very important. It increases your credit rating within months & looks good to lenders.
Lenders don’t want to lend to people who still owe collection accounts. Why would they? The best you can do is realize you were late on payment, you will have to take responsibility for that, and you’ve paid your accounts and do care about your obligations. Don’t expect to truly get your past erased though. It would be a lie. No matter what collection tells you, they are not supposed to delete the truth. They are supposed to report it accurately.
Delete for Payment is a dream. Only the most unethical collection agencies would dare to do it.

notice to pay or vacate/eviction process?
Three days to pay or vacate notice?
what is the difference between “Three Days to Pay or Vacate” and Three Days to Pay or Quit”? or are they the same thing. i live in utah and ive been looking on google to find the answer to this, but im not finding it. does anyone here know? if they spell my name wrong is that grounds for dismissal for the eviction process? can they really give us a “Three Day to Pay or Vacate” notice and THEN send us to the attourney to have our case taken to a judge? i thought that they had to give you a notice first like a “Notice To Quit” or a notice that says, “Eviction Notice” before they can take you to the attourney and to the court system.
The situation for these papers is for failure of rent payment under lease agreement.
They are the same thing, both a requiest to pay or leave.
The name on this does not matter at all. However, the name on the actual court papers must read the same as on your lease.

can i ring up HSBC and stop a transaction off my credit card?
i brought some shoes online and now i’m having doubts about the company – the company has my card details but said they wouldn’t debit my account till the shoes became available again within a few days. Anyway, can i stop the payment altogether by ringing up HSBC?

further to potters advice take a copy of your order with you to see your bank manager. you could ring them up, but the chances are you will not have any luck online. you are more likely to get someone to take you seriously if you are in branch.
ringing hsbc is not likely to get you anywhere. you need to put things in writing for your own protection. otherwise if this company is untryustworthy you will be liable for any losses in addition to the cost of the shoes.
that said if this company are like dabs.com they will take your order online, verify your card details but not take payment until they ship your order.
if you were prompted with the mastercard or other verification scheme window during payment processing then you need not worry. assuming you have registered a password for your payment cards with a personal welcome message. only if the welcome message is seen do you enter your password.
such as on both the www.dabs.com website and on www.dominos.co.uk amongst others. this is one way to ensure your card details are secure when shopping online.

Ecommerce Payment Processing Options
How can I set up an online store and get a credit card processor like paypal with my bad credit?
I know how to code it, upload it. I know what I’m selling, where to host it (unless there is a good, alternate inexpensive ecommerce option you can recommend), and I already have a registered domain name. I just need to be able to process payments easily. Thanks for any advice.
If you want to use paypal as a credit card processor you can use prepaid or debit card to activate that option. But then again you need to do some research on which prepaid or debit cards are accepted by paypal.

Online payment for Citi credit card?
I’m a new credit card user trying to make an online payment for my citi credit card. I have a ‘current balance’ shown but when I try to make a payment, my statement balance is shown as $0.00. Does that mean my current balance isn’t due until a later time? If so, how do I find out the due date? There is a due date in the next few days and I just want to make sure I don’t end up making a late payment.
If you recently got this card (as in, within the last month) then you likely do not have a payment due.
I have a Citi account too. On the very main screen (if yours is shown the same online than mine) in the middle yet towards the left you should see where it says “Current Balance as of Today” and the balance, and then right below it “Minimum Payment Due.” If it’s telling you there’s a minimum balance due, you need to make at least that.
Your payment is based upon your most recent statement. If your statement had a zero balance, you would not yet owe any money.
Of course, not to preach, it’s best to pay off the balance as soon as you can so you can avoid finance charges and also avoid building debt.

Unscrupulous thieves have sent you this email and they are trying to part you from your hard earned cash. They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. They may ask you to divulge personal information about yourself or ask for your bank or credit card details. Do not divulge any such information under any circumstances. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Just remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace, hopefully along with the thieving scumbags who send them.
